Is Christ Your Lord and Saviour
These days many seem to live with a false assurance of salvation, that stems from a shallow understanding of grace that does not require a real transformation of hearts and lives. To those content to follow Christ superficially, he says that a true disciple must consider the cost and be willing to put him above everything else. Jesus uses the parable of the great banquet to open our eyes to our common excuses for rejecting the gracious invitation of our loving God, and the consequences of complacency.
Pastor Isaac Thomas preaches ‘Is Christ your Lord and Saviour?’ from Luke 14:15-34, to look at what it truly means to be a disciple of Christ.
